About Me

I was born and raised in Goochland, VA, and after having moved all over the country for the last decade, I decided to come back home.  I  love this town, and take every opportunity I can to be outside.  Whether on a bike, a run around the fan with the pup, paddling the James, hiking in the Blue Ridge, or even having dinner on a patio, I'm just happy for every opportunity to explore our city.  I have loved every corner of the world that I've lived, but it is good to be home. 

 

The last 8 years of my life have been dedicated to building my skills and knowledge in the world of carpentry, woodworking, and business, with the hopes of one day starting my own company.  With the fresh start brought about by my relocation to Richmond, I was given the opportunity to launch Heartwood Carpentry.  Hell-bent on quality, value, and clear communication, I look forward to the opportunity to show you what we're made of.
